Terms of service

Last updated 20 October 2026.

These terms govern your use of Vitruvius: the desktop app, the website and the online services behind them.

The service

Vitruvius is design software for architects and designers, with an optional AI agent that proposes changes to your drawings. During the alpha the service may change, break or be unavailable, and features may be added or removed.

Your account

You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Plans and limits

Paid plans, their prices and their usage allowances are shown on the pricing page. Invite codes (such as ALPHA10) grant a plan for a limited time and can be redeemed once per account. Usage limits apply to the agent only; manual drawing is never blocked.

Your content

You own your drawings, files and other content. You give us the permissions needed to store, process and display it to provide the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Professional responsibility

Vitruvius is a tool. Outputs, including agent proposals and advisory checks such as space standards, may be wrong. You remain responsible for your drawings and for checking them before use, and you remain the designer of record.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break its security, overload it, reverse engineer it, resell it, or use it to break the law or infringe others' rights.

Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We will give reasonable notice before closing the service and let you export your data.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We will tell you about material changes to these terms before they take effect.
